Meet Chris & Dan

Chris, the founder of Woodspace, has always had a passion for woodwork and building. Having spent much of his working life as a Maths teacher, he fitted woodwork into his spare time for a number of years before deciding to do it full time.

He has built up a portfolio of products using a mixture of materials and ranging in scale, as shown in the Bespoke Product page. 

Teaming up with friend and fellow teacher, Dan Taylor, they set up 'Project Playhouse' which draws on both their creative skills and education backgrounds to offer a fully immersive design and build experience for children. 

Always keen to minimise waste and make sure they use materials wisely, Chris and Dan up-cycle wherever possible and only buy from suppliers with a proven commitment to the principles of responsible sourcing. 

They enjoy working with customers to discuss their needs and make sure everyone gets the perfect product for a competitive price.
